Well, Music Happened

I'm going a little off schedule, but I had a musical epiphany and I've been working on that. I still hope to have the layouts at least sketched by Wednesday.

Just a Quick Update

I'm working diligently on layouts today. I hope to get through eight or so before taking a break. My goal is to have my layouts done by Wednesday for scanning, so wish me luck.

Super Temporary Work Reel

This is a very temporary work reel. I'll be uploading again when I composite the shot of Eithne entering the hut. There are 3 boards missing at the climax, as I changed it a bit, but those will come soon.

·      February 22- Work Reel ready for presentation, Blog updated

·      February 29- All layouts drawn, scanned, and uploaded to blog; begin compositing 2 seconds of shot 10 for proof of concept and keying S 1-9 & 11-14;

·      March 1- Completed proof of concept uploaded to blog; have keys for shots 1-9 & 11-14; begin keying S 15-28

·      March 4-11- ROUGHS ALL WEEK LONG, all shots; when not roughing, coloring backgrounds, Have shots 1-9 tied down, work on sound

·      March 14- Blog updated; update work reel, Have shots 10-28 tied down, begin final line

·      March 21- work on final line and start coloring

·      March 28- Begin compositing completed scenes in AfterEffects, work on final line and continue coloring

·      April 4-, work on final line and continue coloring; continue compositing

·      April 11- Have completed film ready to allow cushion. Things WILL go wrong. Also organize everything for Production Book and Data Disc

·      April 25- FINAL PRESENTATION-

o   Present project on playable disc (3 copies)

o   Have data disc (3 copies)

§  Contains everything from proposal and pre-production work-final work reel

o   Have Production Book

o   Blog updated

Process

§  Traditional Roughs, tie-down, and final line.

§  GarageBand and ProTools for sound

§  Dragon shoot final-line

§  Photoshop color

§  AfterEffects composite
